hæl stores fasting history, body weight entries, cycle phase dates, streaks, and preferences. all data is stored locally on the device using UserDefaults and App Groups. none of it is transmitted to any server operated by hæl or KI-GEN Studios LLC.
hæl uses TelemetryDeck for anonymous usage signals such as feature interactions. TelemetryDeck does not collect personally identifiable information, device identifiers, or IP addresses. no individual user can be identified. see telemetrydeck.com/privacy for details.
hæl accesses the following HealthKit data types, only with the user's explicit permission:
this data is used locally to provide cycle-aware fasting context. it is never transmitted off-device.
all push notifications are scheduled locally on the device. no notification tokens are sent to any server.
hæl offers a one-time in-app purchase ("the full witness") through Apple's StoreKit. purchase verification happens on-device via StoreKit 2. hæl does not process, store, or transmit payment information.
hæl has no user accounts, no login, no server-side storage, no advertising, and no third-party trackers beyond TelemetryDeck's anonymous analytics.
all app data is stored locally via UserDefaults and syncs through the user's private iCloud container. hæl does not operate any server or database.
to remove all hæl data, delete the app from the device. HealthKit data can be managed separately through the Health app in iOS Settings.
hæl is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from children.
