These terms apply alongside Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula). If the two conflict, Apple's agreement governs the license to use the app.
hæl is a fasting companion app that tracks intermittent fasting windows, observes body weight trends, and provides cycle-aware context. It is a personal wellness tool.
hæl is not a medical device, diagnostic tool, or treatment program. It does not provide medical advice, diagnose conditions, prescribe treatments, or replace professional medical care.
Fasting carries health risks. Consult a qualified healthcare provider before beginning any fasting practice, especially if you are pregnant, nursing, have a history of disordered eating, or take medication that affects blood sugar. Fasts longer than 48 hours should be medically supervised.
"The full witness" is a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase that unlocks additional features. It is tied to your Apple ID and can be restored on other devices signed in to the same account. Purchases are processed by Apple, and refunds are handled by Apple under its refund policy.
All content in hæl, including text, prose, design, illustrations, and software, is the property of KI-GEN Studios LLC. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from it without written permission.
hæl is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the extent permitted by law, KI-GEN Studios LLC is not liable for any damages arising from use of the app, including health outcomes, data loss, or device issues. You assume all risk associated with fasting and with use of the app.
hæl may be updated, modified, or discontinued at any time without notice. Continued availability is not guaranteed.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Georgia.
If these terms change, the updated version will be published at this URL with a revised date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
